Tested for success at our Queensbury Tasting Room, we know what people like, and we know just where you can get all the ingredients to make at home!
At both of our tasting rooms, you can find New York Spirits used in these recipes from American Oak Distillery, Springbrook Hollow Distillery and Montauk Rum Company.
We also carry the organic LUSH Cocktail Mixes and Hudson Valley Marshmallow Company marshmallows used in garnishes below at our tasting rooms!
π€« psss... Did you know Wine Cocktails are generally higher in alcohol than a typical cocktail? Why? Because we replace the juice with wine! Try one for yourself and you'll be feeling fine in no time!
Jingle Juice
Prepare Container to sit overnight:
- 1 Bottle Home Sweet Home (Apple Pie Wine)
- 1 Bottle Red Carriage (Cranberry Wine)
- 24 oz Apple Cider
- 24 oz Cranberry Juice
- 1 bottle American Oak Double Barrel Bourbon
- 12oz Simple Syrup
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
- 4 Whole nutmeg
- 6 rosemary sprigs
- 6 Sage Leaves
- 1 Sliced Red Apple
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
To Serve:
- Rim a Rocks Glass with Cinnamon & Sugar
- Fill Glass with Ice
- Add 6oz of Jingle Juice
- Garnish w/ 4 Cranberries on a pick & a fresh Rosemary Sprig!
Winter Spiced Rum Punch
Prepare Container to sit overnight:
- 1 bottle Montauk Spiced Rum
- 1.5 Bottles Red Carriage (Cranberry Wine)
- 24 oz Cranberry Juice
- 24 oz Orange Juice
- 24 oz Coconut cream
- 12 oz lime juice
- 1 orange, 1 lime, sliced
- 1 cup cranberries
To Serve:
- Fill a Collins Glass with Ice
- Add 6oz of Winter Spiced Rum Punch
- Garnish with a half Orange Wheel and 4 cranberries on a pick
Santa Baby
Prepare Container to sit overnight:
- 1 bottle Fireworks Red Merlot or Holiday Cabernet Sauvignon
- ½ bottle (approx 375ml) of Springbrook Hollow Two Sisters Vodka
- 24 oz cranberry juice
- 12 oz elderflower simple syrup
- 1 cup cranberries
To Serve Full Sized Cocktail:
- Fill Wine Glass with ½ Ice
- Add 6oz Santa Baby
- Top w/ 2oz Mountainside Bubbly (Sparkling Red Bubbly Wine)
- Garnish w/ Rosemary Sprig & 4 cranberries on a stick
Holiday Cheermeister
Prepare Container to sit overnight:
- 1.5 Bottles Gewurtzraminer
- 30 oz Pomegranate Juice
- 1 Bottle Springbrook Hollow Sly Fox Gin
- 24 oz triple sec
- 12 oz lime juice
- 12 oz real maple syrup
- 1 orange & lime, sliced
- 1/2 cup Pomegranate seeds
To Serve Full Sized Cocktail:
- Rim Rocks Glass w/ Gold Sugar
- Fill glass with ice
- Add 6 oz pre-batched mixture
- Garnish with a lime wheel
Cran-Ginger Collins
Prepare Batch in the Night Before:
- 2 Bottles Red Carriage (Cranberry Wine)
- 1 Bottle Springbrook Hollow Two Sisters Vodka
- 12oz Lime Juice
- 24oz Ginger Simple Syrup
- Make this by soaking 1 thumb of fresh ginger root in simple syrup 1 day before
- 24oz Cranberry Juice
To Serve Full size Cocktail:
- Rim Collins glass w/ White Sugar & fill w/ ice
- Pour 6oz Cran-Ginger Collins into glass
- Garnish w/ candied ginger & 4 cranberries on a stick
To Make a Single Serving, Add to a Shaker w/ Ice: 2 oz Red Carriage, 1 oz Vodka, .5oz Lime Juice, 1 oz Ginger Simple Syrup, 1 oz Cranberry Juice
Raspberry Limoncello Spritzer
- Rim Flute glass w/ Berry Pink Rimming Sugar
- Add 3oz Lakeside Bubbly
- 1.5 oz Springbrook Hollow Limoncello
- 1.5 oz Lemonade
- Garnish with a lemon wedge
French Toast Supreme
Prepare Batch in Advance:
- 2 bottles Home Sweet Home (Apple Pie Wine)
- 750ml Bottle American Oak Maple Whiskey
- 16oz Maple Syrup
To Serve:
- Rim Chilled Martini Glass w/ Cinnamon & Sugar
- Add Maple Syrup Swirls in Glass
- Shake the batched mixture & fill the glass about ½” from the Rim of the Glass
- garnish with a Hudson Valley French Toast Marshmallow
Gimme S'more
Chilled Martini Glass:
- Smear Ghiardelli chocolate syrup on the glass to form a lip rim – dip rim in crushed Hudson Valley Chocolate Chip Graham Crackers.
- Add a swirl of chocolate syrup in glass
In a shaker w/ Ice add:
- 1 oz American Oak Double Barrel Bourbon
- 1.5 oz Fireside Reserve Port
- 1 oz Heavy Cream
- 1 oz s’more simple syrup:
- Make this by putting 8oz Simple Syrup in a Glass Mason Jar with 2 tbsp Marshmallow Fluff and 1tbsp chocolate syrup in advance. Shake well and let sit for 1 day in advance. Strain before using in cocktail.
- Shake well in shaker w/ ice, strain and pour into glass
Garnish with a Hudson Valley Chocolate Chip Marshmallow!
Warm Wine Cocktails made in a crockpot hit the spot to give you that warm and cozy feeling on any chilly winter day! Plus, they fill your home with lovely warm, spicy smells!
Spiked Apple Toddy
Prepare in a crockpot on medium heat, then turn down to low:
- 1 bottle of white wine (Home Sweet Home preferred, but Orchard Blossom and Holiday Chardonnay will work well too!)
- 1 bottle of water
- 6 oz apple cider
- 8 oz LUSH Apple Toddy Mix
To Serve:
- Rim Coffee Mug in cinnamon sugar
- Fill with 8oz of Hot Apple Toddy
- Add 1.5oz Shot of American Oak Double Barrel Bourbon (optional)
- Garnish w/ Cinnamon Sugar Apple Slice
Boozy Mulled Wine
- 1 bottle of red wine (Red Carriage preferred, but Red Barn or Baco Noir will work well too!)
- 1 bottle of water
- 6 oz cranberry juice
- 8 oz LUSH Spiced Wine Mix
To Serve:
- Rim Coffee Mug in cinnamon sugar
- Fill with 8oz Hot Spiced Mulled Red Wine
- Add 1.5oz Shot of American Oak Whiskey (optional)
- Garnish w/ orange wheel, sliced in half
