Wine-Specific Conditions
Legal Requirements
You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Adirondack Winery. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Adirondack Winery are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
THE RECIPIENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE SHOWING PROOF OF AGE IN ORDER FOR SHIPPER TO RELEASE PACKAGE TO RECIPIENT. PACKAGES WILL NOT BE DROPPED OFF ON DOOR STEPS, SO BE SURE TO SHIP YOUR PACKAGE TO AN ADDRESS WHERE YOU WILL BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE IT DURING BUSINESS HOURS.
Credit Card Charges
Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Minimum Purchase
No minimum purchase is required.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MOST STATES REQUIRE WE CHARGE SPECIFIC WINE SALES TAX RATES.

Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws from state to state, we are currently ABLE to ship wines to the following states:
Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
- Please note that wine orders shipping to CT, DC, MA, MN, NJ, NY, FL, NH, PA, TX, VA and VT are shipped directly via Adirondack Winery.
- Wine orders shipped to other states will be shipped through our fulfillment house, VinoShipper.com; so you may see communications listing VinoShipper.
ALTERNATIVE WEBSITES OFFERING SHIPPING TO OTHER STATES
If your shipping state IS NOT listed above, Adirondack Winery is unable to ship directly to your state. Instead, we encourage you to ship your order to a friend in a neighboring state we CAN ship wine to, pick your order up in our tasting room, OR visit the following websites, which have a small selection of our wines and may be able to ship our wine to your state:

Shipping Costs
Your delivery from Adirondack Winery will arrive via UPS ground. We currently charge flat rate shipping for ground service, which you can see in your checkout page. We reserve the right to change our shipping methods and pricing at any time.
WINE SHIPPING NOTES & TIPS
SHIPPING TIME
- We do our best to ship out orders on the same or next business day; however, our policy is that we will ship your order within 3 business days (Mon-Friday) of receipt.
- Once we prepare our packages for pickup by UPS, we rely on them to pick up the order in a timely fashion, however, there are sometimes delays due to weather or pickup schedules. *We have recently heard from several customers that they have been experiencing delays on their shipments. These are pickup and transit delays by UPS and unfortunately out of our control. We will continue to do our best to get your package prepared as timely as possible!
WINE CANNOT BE SHIPPED IN EXTREME COLD OR HEAT!
- We want your wine to arrive safely and tasting great, to your door. This means that we will not let your order leave our facility in extreme heat or cold conditions, in order to prevent breakage, spoilage and freezing. When day time temps reach 90 and above or below 20 degrees on weekeday or below 32 degrees on weekends, all shipments will be put on hold. We will notify you if your order is held for more than 3 days.
DELIVERIES CANNOT BE SCHEDULED & YOU MUST SIGN FOR PACKAGE

Wine requires a recipient 21 years of age or older (does not have to be whom the package is addressed to) to show a valid photo ID to the UPS Driver to sign for and accept the package.

It is recommended that you ship your package to a delivery address where someone may receive the package between the hours of 9am to 6pm Monday thru Friday.

You will receive an email from us and/or VinoShipper.com telling you your package has shipped and providing the tracking number.

UPS attempts to deliver the package 3 times, and will leave a note each time they are unsuccessful so that you can call to inquire with them or change address or have the package held at your nearest UPS Customer Center (if there is a facility nearby; this is NOT guaranteed by UPS. If there is no nearby facility, it will be returned to ADK Winery, and you will be subject to a return shipping fee). This is a UPS policy and we cannot change their policies.

If your package is sent back to us, and we have to send the package out again, you will be charged for another new shipment fee and your original shipment fee will not be refunded.

After your package has shipped, address changes are available within the first two attempts, for a fee ranging from $20 to $40 per shipment.
Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Adirondack Winery is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser. If your shipment arrives damaged, or there are other problems with the shipment, you must take up the issue with UPS.
Important Pickup Information!
Our locations in Lake George and Queensbury are open for pickup during normal business hours! (Need us outside of business hours? Just ask!)
You can arrange for a pickup order by calling us at 518-668-WINE.
We offer in store deals on all pick up orders. Club members save even more. Must CALL to place order and receive correct discounts.
Orders placed online for pick up will not be refunded for correct discounts.
Please allow for up to 24 hours for your order to be fulfilled, during business hours of the pickup location only.
Also, please note the following:
Adirondack Winery will contact you via email or phone / text when your order is ready to be picked up.
You have 13 weeks to pick up your order, contact us if something prevents you from picking your order up by that time.
After 13 weeks, Adirondack will attempt to contact you via phone, text and/or email 3 times.
If we do not hear from you within 1 week from these contact attempts, this will result in the wine being placed back into inventory, including a $25 restocking fee.
You will receive a voucher for store credit in the amount of your original order, minus the $25 restocking fee, which can be used online or in store to purchase wine or merchandise.
