12th Annual Drink Pink Fundraiser Supporting Making Strides Commences!
Help Us Reach Our $20,000 Fundraising Goal!
From now until October 31st, a portion of sales will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Adirondacks. Over the past 12 years, our customers, employees, and friends have raised a total of over $116,000 donated to the cause. This accomplishment ranked us the top fundraising company in the Northeast for Making Strides.
“This cause is near and dear to our hearts. I have spoken with so many customers and employees who have had their lives directly impacted by breast cancer,” said Adirondack Winery President & Co-Owner Sasha Pardy. “Drink Pink goes beyond raising funds; it's our way of coming together to support those in our community and letting them know that we stand by them during this challenging time.”
During our Drink Pink campaign, we will offer a variety of specialty products that will help support the fundraiser. This includes our limited edition “Drink Pink Berry Breeze” wine. This special version of its popular mixed berry rosé is given a pink cap (Donated by Waterloo Container) and label only available during the fundraiser.
Additionally, we will be hosting numerous events at its Queensbury Tasting Room, from crafting to cookie decorating to comedy all to support the cause. (See below for the list of events)
We will also be selling raffle tickets throughout the campaign for many unique baskets, including overnight stays, gift cards, wine, accessories, products and services graciously donated by other Lake George and other Capital Region businesses. 100% off raffle ticket proceeds are donated to Making Strides. Last year’s raffle baskets raised over $3,400 alone and we’re anticipating exceeding that number this year
“Every year our community committee continues to connect with more people that have been touched by breast cancer and we see new bonds form, old ones strengthen, and we all benefit from it,” Senior Development Manager, Nick Liporace states. “This year is no exception as we have one of our Flagship sponsors (Adirondack Winery) returning with their fundraising efforts called “Drink Pink” as many have come to love. This is not only a beloved tradition but an example of how our local businesses and families can come together to make a difference. We are expecting a record breaking 2 million new cancer diagnoses in our country this year, and while that number can sound tragic, we also continue to see a decline in the cancer mortality rate. We have more survivors and thrivers than ever before and its largely thanks to events like our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Adirondacks on October 27th, and the extra awareness and support our dedicated volunteers 7 supporters like the Adirondack Wintery, bring to our life saving mission.”

Our Drink Pink festivities will culminate with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, Oct. 27th starting at 10am at the Glens Falls City Park! Join our walk team for a fun filled day with friends and family all while supporting this amazing cause!
