Our Drink Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Is Back and We Need Your Help!
Every October, Adirondack Winery donates a portion of sales to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Adirondacks. This organization provides life-saving services such as trips to and from treatment, housing near treatment centers, and innovative research to treat and prevent breast cancer to those touched by this dreaded disease, right here in our community. We are committed to this cause because it is so dear to our hearts – and in fact, this year, our good friend and loyal Gold Club Member Debra Hall was diagnosed.
When talking to Debra, you will instantly notice that she is such a beautiful soul with so much optimism and overall love for life. She has not let her diagnosis control her life or get her down - she remains as bubbly and charismatic as ever. When we sat down to interview her about her experience, she did not say one negative thing about her diagnosis or life since getting the painful news. Instead, she attempted to shed light on the positive side of things and boasted about her strong support system. We asked Debra what advice she would give to other cancer patients and her response was inspiring; she said, “after getting a diagnosis, it’s important that you do NOT panic!” If this does not reassure you of the strong, positive person that she is, go watch our interview with her below!
