This semi-sweet, light bodied wine presents the succulent flavor of ripe black cherries balanced with a subtle touch of tannins.
Winemaker Notes
With black cherry being a more mellow flavor, Pinot Noir was a natural fit as the base wine for Wild Red. We also like to use Baco Noir in the blend to pair with the very slight sour flavors that black cherry can produce.
Food Pairing Notes
Best served, chilled, try pairing our Wild Red with brie or blue cheese, Cajun cuisine, sweet barbeque dishes, and berry-based desserts.

I cannot drink most red wines, but this one is perfect. Love the cherry flavor in the red wine.

I loved the taste of cherries. It's fruity but in my opinion not too sweet. The cherry flavor will like limit pairings. It's more of a wine and cheese or even dessert wine than a dinner wine in my opinion. It also stands in its own as a treat. B-)

The wine wasn't to sweet and had a nice cherry flavor yo it which made it easy to pair with red meat. This is my husband's favorite red wine now.

I can’t tolerate alcohol very much as I get older but I seem to be able to si0 this one!👍A lot if cherry flavored things taste cough syrupy to me but not this one.
