Tasting Notes

This unique, dry red wine was aged in American toasted oak barrels for 15 months, creating a luscious medium body with a beautiful garnet hue. Offering enticing oak and spicy clove notes on the nose, this wine follows through with the pleasant acidity of dark black currants and a touch of pepper spice, followed by a lingering tannic, earthy finish. An excellent wine for aging in your wine cellar!

Winemaker Notes

Lemberger was an outlier on our crush pad for the 2018 harvest season, defying the drought conditions, heat and humidity that challenged other grapes. The body of this year’s vintage is unique with the strong presence of acidity yet equal amounts of tannin to provide exceptional balance.

Not usually a dry red drinker, but I do love oaky wines. Had this chilled with some homemade chili, it was a very good nice pairing.

Love this wine! It has a unique flavor profile, with the body of a Pinot Noir, but with more spice. 5 out of 5!

Stargazer is my favorite from Adirondack Winery. I usually have a glass every time I visit. I recently "discovered" the other tasting room, so now it is two glasses a visit.

I love the okay taste mixed with a slight fruity note.
