"Being a “new” wine for ADK Winery, we wanted to improve on the tasting profile of the original California version of Amethyst Sunset by bringing out more fresh blackberry flavors. We accomplished that by using 5 different grapes which mostly have a neutral profile for taste as blackberry can be fairly subtle so it needed that neutral base to shine." - Brad Casacci, Adirondack Winery Associate Winemaker

This red wine is best served chilled on it’s own and makes a great match for sweet BBQ dishes, salads with balsamic glaze, sharp cheeses, dark chocolate and more!

I bought this and served for Thanksgiving. I thoroughly enjoyed this and will definitely purchase again it is delicious and I am not a frequent wine drinker. My guests enjoyed it too.
